Harvard Board Bars Pro Palestinian Students from Graduating

Harvard University, once a glorious academic institution, is on the verge of losing its moral legitimacy. In a passionate speech titled “The Power of Not Knowing,” student Shruti Kumar fiercely criticized the university administration for barring 13 students from attending their graduation ceremony. Kumar highlighted that these students, who were part of undergraduate programs, were unjustly prevented from graduating.

“I am deeply disappointed by the university’s intolerance toward freedom of speech and the right to civil disobedience on campus,” Kumar declared, revealing that 13 of her peers would not be receiving their diplomas.

Addressing the administration directly, she exclaimed, “Harvard! Do you hear us? This semester, freedom of speech, expression, and solidarity have become grounds for punishment,” her words met with a standing ovation and thunderous applause.

“The students have spoken. The faculty has spoken. Harvard, do you hear us?” Kumar repeated, emphasizing the collective outcry on campus over the dire situation in Gaza.

She underscored the widespread anguish and pain felt by many due to the ongoing crisis.

Across the globe, students are rising in protest against Israel’s continuous operations in Gaza. These demonstrations have gained momentum, especially following Israel’s unexpected assault on Rafah. The escalating protests underscore a global demand for justice and the defense of human rights.
